Why won't my zebra finches eggs hatch?

they have been laying eggs for a while now but they never hatch. when i put them under a flash light some eggs are dark and have veins at the top and in the bottom its white and there is like this perfect line that divides the top with the veins from the white bottom. also any body know any links were they show you the eggs under a flash light and the development of the eggs?
