What proponents of the scientific method consider this person to be ignorant?

When it comes to studying human thinking and behavior, if someone is skeptical about the scientific approach, i.e., is aware of the biases that are a part of what gets chosen for scientific research, realizes there are often serious limitations to how something like an experiment can be generalized to all human beings, knows that there is no real "average" person, understands that matters of values manage to creep into what is supposed to be only the most objective yses and applications, knows that the world is not a matter of total logical no matter how many statistical procedures you can do to try and prove it, and perhaps most of all--wants to see the appraisal of the scientific approach brought to more realistic proportions in our society, do you believe the person is really ignorant or underlyingly superstitious?
