Does my house have no dust mites?

I could have sworn my house had dust mites because my room never gets vacuumed the humidity and temperature are usually high and I'm always sneezing.So I bought a 10x microscope so I could see how bad it was but when I looked at my mattress and furniture I couldn't see anything does this mean that my house doesn't have dust mites.Over the winter months the humidity drops to about 45% could this have eliminated them?
