Triops shedding skin help?

Hi im new to triops and almost 28 hours ago, my first triops egg hatched! It is in a tiny temporary container untill its siblings hatch and get 8 days old. Its been having trouble molting its exoskeleton for like 6 hrs and it looks kind frustrated. Poor thing keeps rubbing upside-down on the bottom of the smooth plastic tank and still working on freeing itself. It tries rubbing on the dedritus too. Is there any way I can help this guy? like sand, pebbles, anything? *My triops is only 28 hrs old and developed most its adult features.
