Please help me i really need help on this..please?

imagine the situation when sperm hits egg zygote forms. if sperm and egg bring all their chromosomes then the zygote will have two times the normal number of chromosomes. if this continues for some generations then the whole cell is full of chromosomes. But in reality that never happens coz of meiosis. When a cell undergoes meiosis it produces daughter cells which have only half the number of chromosomes.
