The perfect rule change for Baseball...?

Honestly of all the major sports baseball is the slowest, and I know lots of people who don't watch it because of that reason, so I was thinking, should baseball adopt the shot clock, as to say the pitcher has 30 or so seconds to deliver the pitch or it counts as a hit for the batter, and likewise the batter has 30 or so seconds to get ready for the pitch or it counts as a strike against him?, this would mively speed the game up, and make it a bit more enjoyable for the ones who find it slow... do you agree. And please I'm not trying to be rude. I'm posting this twice, once in the baseball catagory and in P&S, just to let you know.
