I have a guy question!!!!!!!?

So, there's this guy I really like and yesterday, my friend told him that someone in our cl the three of us are in likes him. He said that "she should talk to me" and today she told him it was me. He responded by saying "Hmmmm...Katie?" and rubbed his chin (but not in an "ew, her?) way, seeming to me sounding interested. So, I want to talk to him about it, but I'm very shy about that kind of stuff. We are both in the school play so I'm thinking I'll talk to him then, but I don't know how to bring anything up or anything. How should I?
